Ken Fitch KEN FITCH has worked for many years as a literary manager/dramaturge/"play doctor" with many screenwriters and playwrights, both independently and in conjunction with theaters such as La Mama ETC, Theater for the New City, Africa Arts Theater Company, Intar, Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Actors' Enclave and Westbeth Theatre Center. He has worked in theater, film and television in various capacities as a writer and director for projects ranging from influential documentaries on OEO community programs to the television sitcom pilot, "Be Serious." In recent years he has served as script supervisor and consultant for music videos for a number of emerging artists such as 2B, Stocks McGuire and Half A Mill. He worked as the writer and script supervisor for the annual Urban Fashion Award Shows at Lincoln Center in New York and Las Vegas. He also serves as a consultant for the Pocono Mountains Film Festival. He is the recipient of a Shubert Fellowship in playwriting, a writing grant from the Vogelstein Foundation, and a Humanitarian Award from the NAACP for his community work. |
