Rockiem a.k.a Rock is the Founder and CEO of DA Noe Doe Network and IGMC. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As he grew up in the streets of Brownsville he began to follow the hip hop scene. In 1988, from Street corner battles and basement demos he finally recorded his first 24 track song for Catch A Groove Records, entitled "You Gotta Believe". In 1989/90 he recorded his first full length project "Rock The Rebel" produced by TRACKMASTARS for BEG Music based in L.A., California. Departing from his business circle, Rock recorded a rap remake of "Funky Sensation" getting recording offers from JAM MASTER JAY'S label JMJ and INTERSCOPE but could not contractually come to terms. As an aspiring Artist and eager businessman he teamed up with KC "Mystere" Jones to produce, manufacture and distribute their first Independent album and music video "Brooklyn Zone", winning the TIME WARNER Boyz N The Hood contest in 1991. While developing a new production/recording company, "DA NOE DOE NETWORK", Rock was introduced to PEE WEE KIRKLAND for management and immediately recorded a rap version of "Ob la Di-Ob La da" as part of the controversial BEATLES Rap project. In 93' he also featured MOS DEF, YZ and others. As a young CEO/Artist, he was ahead of his time (1994 - 2000) independently releasing a catalogue of cd's & 12" records getting national radio airplay and retail distribution via BIG DADDY MUSIC, UNIQUE MUSIC CORP & UNIVERSAL one stop. As the new millennium approached, selling thousands of records was not the popularity gainer of his career; it was the HBO pimps up Hoes Down (directors cut soundtrack) appearance on two songs & two music videos with the Down Street Playaz. Currently as an executive & entrepreneur, his expertise is in project development and cross promotion (I.G.M.C). As an artist, ROCK teams up with super producer D SORCE forming the R&B rap duo 2B..
